Have you ever wondered what the REAL name of your favorite singer is? There are a lot of singers and musicians that, for whatever reason, change their names when they go into the music business. We ran across a great website that lists the REAL NAMES of an awful lot of very famous musicians and singers, and thought you might find it as interesting as we did. Just follow the link!

Great site. To my surprise, most names aren’t far of their real names. Liberace was actually Wladziu Lee Valentino. Somehow I thought Liberace was his real name. You can’t make stuff like that up, can you?

One of my favorite female artists is Michelle Branch. Her real name is Michelle Jacquet DeSevren Branch-Landau according to that site. No wonder she chose Branch. It’s a lot easier to say.

One of my favorite singers is Ane Brun (real name Ane Brunvoll). She’s a Norwegian singer/songwriter, born and raised in Molde, Norway. She lives in Stockholm, Sweden. She co-runs a record company, DetErMine Records (”they are my records”), along side Ellekari Larsson of The Tiny.
After a few years of numerous live stints in Sweden and Norway and several non-official EP releases her first official album - Spending Time with Morgan was released at the end of May, 2003 in Scandinavia, and in various European countries in the fall of 2003. The album was released via DetErMineRecords which is licensed to V2 Music for USA distribution.
