Movie songs to remember

When movie theme songs are mentioned, most people remember the ones like “Grease” and “Hair”. But lots of movie themes get forgotten right up until you hear them. Then it’s like running into an old friend. For me, this song is one of those. From the movie “Smokey and the Bandit”, here is EAST BOUND AND DOWN by Jerry Reid. Way I understand it, he wrote this in about three hours. Best use of three hours I ever heard of!

Jerry Reid, was one of the greatest performers EVER.
He was a fantastic writer, and guitar player, but when he put it all together with his talksinging, and performance He was something else.
Going to one of his live shows was an experience that you left knowing you would never forget.
    Thanks for sharing these clips.
Sort of like seeing an old friend who’s gone live again for a few minuets.

Jerry Reid and Burt Reynolds we just great and they do not make movies like they use to. I miss great old movies they are the classics and with what is being produced now how can they ever be called classic’s.
