Hello, and welcome to my musical trip down memory lane. While this is MY blog, what is contained herein are the collected thoughts and memories of many people, and some of us may be having just a tad bit of trouble remembering dates. Some things will be condensed, and all of the memories and melodies will be reflected under the single character memoir of “Momma”. The events themselves are as factual as memory can be.

We feel, as do our children and grandchildren, that the events of the past are too soon forgotten, and many a mistake could have been avoided, personally and globally, if only people had learned to check history and to consult those who have been there. There are no NEW mstakes.

And so, with the thought in mind that long after we are gone, this journal and others like it might serve to educate those we leave behind, we welcome you to Silver Melody.
